On January 18 at 1:18 PM, in the Construction Bureau Conference room of Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, Western Water Group and Lufeng County held a contract signing ceremony for the Lufeng County Wastewater Treatment Project. This marked the fruition of talks which began in early August, and of the opening of Western Water's first project in Chuxiong Prefecture.
The WWTP design scale is 10,000 m3/d, planned to expand to 20,000 in the future. The plant, which must treat to China's 1-B standard, is expected to begin construction in February.
