Bao-an WWTP, Shenzhen

This project is located in a relatively wealthy area of southern China and was the first WWTP in its district.  The plant has an average flow rate of 16 MGD. Han's engineers in Shenzhen, in affiliation with Tianjin Municipal Design Institute, provided both preliminary and detailed designs for the plant, which utilizes Han's SBR process. The effluent is discharged into a tributary of the Shenzhen River, which then flows into the adjacent Hong Kong Water District.
