Yin-chuan first WWTP, Ningxia

Client: Yin-chuan municipal government, Ningxia province.
Construction period: 1998-2002

Located in the capital of Ningxia Province, in northwest China, this plant uses Han's SBR technology and has a designed capacity of 34.5 MGD. Han's staff worked as sole consultants to provide overall supervision of the project for China's Northwest Design Institute, a designated and licensed local design institute.

Han's also provided technical training for the local operators.  Fully equipped with advanced US technologies, the Yin-chuan plant received the "Excellent Operation Model of WWTP in China" award from China's State Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) in October 2002.  The plant is now operated by a local company.
